COVID, and the world's reaction to it, has affected us all both directly and indirectly, and Mugs&Gifts has not been immune to its impact.  The reduced demand for our services and the increased cost of materials has forced us to consider the ongoing sustainability of Mugs&Gifts into the future.

Historically, there have been many ups and downs in the life of Mugs&Gifts, but any lulls in demand have been gratefully supported by our parent business, 1st4computing.  The direct and indirect affects of COVID have also severely impacted our parent business to such a point that it is unable to continue supporting Mugs&Gifts as the lull continues.

We have reached the point of having to make unenviable decisions.  Whilst we do not wish to close Mugs&Gifts permanently, in the hope that a post-COVID world will see a return to a normality that we remember, we must accept that Mugs&Gifts cannot weather the storm without changes.  To do so would risk a greater financial burden than our parent business can sustain, and would risk terminating both it and Mugs&Gifts permanently.

It is for these reasons that Mugs&Gifts will be considering all future orders placed via this website and elsewhere on an order-by-order basis.  Orders placed during financially strained times will be considered dependent on availability of existing stock and materials.  

Where existing stock/materials are not available, orders will, regrettably, have to be refused/rejected.  This is more likely to affect small and infrequent orders, but infrequent medium-large orders may also be affected.

Where orders cannot be fulfilled, a full refund of any payments made will be processed within 24 hours of receipt and an email will be sent linking to the reasons outlined here.

It is recommended that you contact us via email prior to placing any orders so that we can provide an assessment of the situation at the time of order placement, and so advise if the order is likely to be fulfilled or rejected.

We truly regret this situation we have been forced into by situations outside our control but, we believe, this is our best hope of ensuring that Mugs&Gifts will weather the COVID storm and still be around for the bright future that the "new normal" will bring.
